Day tours

Many places are suitable for a day trip. We can recommend Nordens Ark, Havets Hus, the ferry to Koster islands, Liseberg fun fair, Trollhättan lock, Kynnefjäll highlands and boat tours in the archipelago. We can also recommend a day tour in the archipelago with a authorized boat tour.

Horse Back Ride

There are a lot of farms offering horse back, we can recommend Rimfaxe. This farm can also offer tours from hours to two or three days tours.

Canoe

The number of lakes and minor rivers are high. This mean this area is very suitable for canoe. Kayak in the ocean is also very popular, in this case we recommend Grebbestads Kajakcenter or Minto. Minto has German speaking guides and instructors.

Diving

The ocean is also suitable for diving. We recommend West Point Divers, this firm has a long experience and are a member of worldwide Padi. We recommend also Oxygène in Lysekil where this picture comes from. Phone +46 523 164 70.

Driving

The landscape of Bohuslän offers many great sites and views. We can recommend a trip from Gothenburg, take the exit from E6 towards Stenungsund, drive the country road over the both islands Tjörn and Orust.

If you are interested in art, we recommend The Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn, then later on Saltarvet in Fiskebäckskil.

Then go for the road over Bokenäset and end up in Fiskebäckskil. From Fiskebäckskil go towards Lysekil, take left in Hallinden towards Kungshamn and Smögen.

Follow the cost country road up north to Tanumshede. You will pas several small fishing village, don't miss a round tour in the archipelago of Fjällbacka and eat sea food in Greby´s Restaurant in Grebbestad. In Tanumshede don't miss the world heritage area of Vilycke, a bronze age museum of rock carvings.

Follow E6 north, if you have time visit Galtö / Resö. Visit the island of Koster in Strömstad, then you not far from the Norwegian border.
