Sweden is not a big country, but it is a very long country from north to south. Half of its land surface is covered with forest. Less than 10% is farmland. In the south there is good farming country with flat land to culture. Here grows the crops that will be distilled into Absolut vodka. Here grows also potatoes and vegetables for cannery use. From inland to the coast flow the famous salmon rivers like Mörrumsån and Emån.
Most Swedes also live along the coast, whether it is west or east coast. Here you also find small fishing villages as Smögen, Mollösund or Simrishamn and many, many more.
In south Sweden you also find the south Swedish highland, which corresponds with the province Småland. Here there is much forest and many lakes and very little farming land, on the other hand there are a lot of small manufacturing factories, but also the famous Swedish glass area.
In the north of Sweden you find very large forests and the Laplander people, some of them have large herds of reindeer. Other Laplander people live by fishing but all of them do very high quality handicraft articles of everyday use but also their very special costumes and silver works.
In the very north you also have the midnight sun around midsummer. Four untouched rivers (free from power plants) several national parks and wildlife such as wolf, wolverine, bears, and lynx.
In the south of Sweden you can find lynx and wild boar. Occasionally also wolf
and bear. Sweden also got a large numbers of birds, so many it will not be done
